Sellers with a live Amazon account and product but no sales

You opened the account, uploaded the product. And then… silence.

Your Product Is on Amazon But Nothing Sells

Does this look familiar?

  • You refresh the orders page in Seller Central several times a day
  • The product shows up when you search its exact name, but not in category searches
  • You turned ads on; clicks come, sales don't — and the budget drains
  • You keep swinging between "maybe it's the wrong product" and "maybe I missed a step"

Ask the right question first

"Nothing sells" isn't one problem — it's the shared symptom of four. Without a diagnosis, every move (raise the ad budget, cut the price, add products) burns money. There are four things to check, and the order matters.

1. Visibility: is anyone seeing you?

Check your product's session count in Seller Central. Very low sessions mean the problem isn't your copy or price — you're simply invisible, usually because your keywords don't match what buyers type, or ads were never set up properly.

2. Conversion: seen but not bought

Sessions but no sales means the problem is your page: a below-standard main image, bullets that list features instead of benefits, no A+ content and — most decisive — no reviews. To a US buyer, a zero-review product is an unproven promise.

3. Price and margin: would selling even pay?

Sometimes the problem isn't that it doesn't sell — it's that selling wouldn't pay. Our FBA profit calculator shows what's left after fees, freight and ads in minutes. If your break-even ACOS is very low, growing with ads is mathematically impossible.

4. First reviews: breaking the loop

Sales are hard without reviews, and reviews don't come without sales. The safe way through is Vine (via Brand Registry) plus patient, small-budget PPC. Buying reviews gets accounts banned — we never recommend it.
